I reached out and grabbed Ashton`s hand. "Thanks for helping." He looks up with a grin on his face. His expression changes into a interested look. I could tell he was wondering if I was worried about Luna da Raine. Which I was of course, but he probably didn't know. He waves goodbye and I start walking off. I slump over a bit hoping he wouldn't notice. I walk the whole way home.

I reached the mansion I lived in. It was way to big for a family of three, a driver, a gardener, and a maid. Even though we had a maid, my mom usually does the cooking. She probably does it so she uses her cooking skills. She insisted on teaching me to learn to cook for my "future husband" who I don't have or know. I walk in the front the door and slip off my shoes. "Welcome home Miss Reese." I turn around to find the maid, Elizabeth, standing there with some clean clothes in her hands. "These are you clothes for the afternoon." I take them and nod. I go upstairs leaving Elizabeth to do her chores. I walk into my room and sit on my bed. It's a big bed, with it's fluffy pillows and stuffed animals, but I feel it's too big for me. I change my clothes and look at myself in the mirror. No wonder why everyone calls me a princess. I'm dressed in a pink sparkly top and in a white skirt. I am bare foot though. I walk over to my desk and start my homework.

As I was finishing my homework for the day, I got a call on my phone. I reached over to check who it was and saw that it was from Meria. I picked up my phone and Meria screamed in my ear. "OH MY GOD!!! REESE!! ASHTON`S MISSING!" I hold the phone farther away from my ear. I let what she screamed soak in and then put the phone up to my ear again. "What happened?" This time, I can hear her sobbing this time. "H-he`s gone!" Great. Another emotional breakdown from Meria. We're all going to suffer again.

"I know your worried Meria but please try to calm down a bit!" She stopped talking and screaming. I could hear her rapid breathing through the phone. "Okay. So tell me what happened." She explained that Ashton`s parents had saw him at the front door but then he left. Apparently, he had showed up at her house and had held the crystal. "How do you know he was at your house and had held the crystal when you weren't there?" She paused. "My dog was in my room and he was barking! The crystal was on the ground and, and-" I shushed her, knowing if I didn't, she would probably have another emotional breakdown. "I'll come over to your house in a few days so Luna da Raine can recover. Then we can all go see what's going together." I think she said okay but it was kind of hard to hear her.

Luckily, Luna was up and ready in five days. Meria was a little better, but was still depressed about how Ashton was missing. We were excused from school today, due to the fact that we had told the police we would look for him. They agreed after some persuasion and so we were at Meria`s house. "Okay. So who saw Ashton on the day he disappeared?", I asked everyone, starting with the question nagging me. I couldn't have been the only person that saw Ashton. Luna didn't have to answer because she was out. Tiamo raised his hand. "Acer and I saw him at the front of the school after he visited the hospital." Acer nodded. Meria spoke next. "He came to visit Luna when I was there!" I nod. "I saw him after he crashed into a tree with his bike. I'm guessing I saw him last." Everyone nods. "According to what Meria thinks happened, the last place Ashton was was this very room." Luna stands up. "If this was the last place he was, why was he here? Why did he climb in through the window?" Meria raises her hand. "I believe he could feel something calling him to the crystal. It was probably like something I felt when I first picked up the crystal." Tiamo stands up. "So the whole thing is caused by this little crystal, which apparently has magical powers or whatever." Everyone agrees. I stand up too. "Well then, why not try something with the crystal?" Acer also stands up but moves to the crystal and picks it up. He raises it with his right hand and the crystal starts glowing. "Acer! Put the crystal down!" Acer throws the crystal onto the ground.

I stare at the little crystal on the ground. How could such a tiny thing have such immense power? I sit down again slowly letting everything sink in. Ashton was in another world because of a little crystal with magical powers and we have no idea where he is. We hear Meria`s mom call us down for lunch and each of slowly get up to go downstairs. Tiamo leaves the room first, with Acer and Luna following him. I leave and look back at Meria. "Come on Meria. It's time for lunch." She nods and I go downstairs after everyone else. We had a lunch of pizza, though I asked for a salad and some fruits.

"Hey Reese. Do you think Ashton`s alright?" I look up. "Meria, I'm sure he's fine. Ashton can take care of himself." Meria nods but I can tell she's still worried. "He's just in another dimension! What harm could happen?" Little did I know that the other dimension wasn't the safe happy place I thought it was.

That night, we had a sleepover at Luna`s house. The house itself was dark blue with a gray roof. You couldn't see inside the house due to the curtains. When you walk inside, the wall is painted black and the carpet is white. It's like it's glowing compared to the rest of the room. Luna's room is dark blue but lighter than the actual house. The carpet is once again white and her bed is black. Apparently, they`re a very dark family. Luna had a bunk bed so she let me sleep on the top. Meria brought a sleeping bag to sleep in, which was hot pink. As we settled down, Meria decided we should play a game. "Truth or Dare!" My mouth gaped open. Please say no Luna, please say no. "Sure, why not?" My eyes went wide. I hated this game. This would be a long night.

"Truth or dare Reese?" I sighed. "Truth." I wasn't going to risk having to do a dare. "Okay, if you could kiss any boy that we know, who would he be?" I think of a way to get around it. "And no relatives! Including your dad." Darn it. "Uh, I-I would kiss uh," My voice droped down to a whisper. "Acer." I whisper out. "Yay! Reese actually answered the question!" Meria jumps up and down. "Reese and Acer sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" I feel my face warm up. I wish I chose dare. "Meria calm down. We don't want to embarrass her too much!" Luna stops Meria but I can tell that she's smirking. She's trying to hide it though. I can tell. "My turn! Luna, truth or dare?" I look at Luna wishing her to choose dare. I planned this out from the beginning. "Dare." Yes. I pretended to think for a bit. I looked at her and smiled. "I dare you to go outside and scream I love Tiamo." She looked at me in shock. My smile turned into a devilish grin. This is revenge for laughing at me. "W-what? You want me t-to scream that?" I nodded. Meria claps her hands together. "Come on Luna! You can do it!" Luna stands up and goes downstairs. She slowly opens the door and steps outside. Sadly Tiamo doesn't live near us but oh well. "I-I love Tiamo!", Luna screams. My grin gets wider. I walk over to her. "That wasn't so bad was it?" She stares at me. "I hate you." I laugh.

We go on with the truth or dares but aren't as crazy. Meria had to eat a disgusting sandwich, which she apparently liked. I was dunked into the bathtub. Luna had to attempt to fly, which ended with her falling. I had to tell if I had ever kissed anyone, which I haven`t. Nothing really exciting happened. Meria seemed to be over excited and had to much energy. We shouldn't have fed her a cake.

I fell asleep while watching a random movie. I wasn`t really watching anyways. As I was sleeping, I had a dream. In my dream, I was a princess that had a step mom. I was the next to take the crown. I was walking in the garden with some guy,when we heard the door of the castle break down. I turned around to see Luna da Raine, but something was off. "Reese! You will come with us!" My guy steps in front of me. He seems oddly familiar, with his long golden hair. Luna scowls at him. A green flame forms in her hand. My eyes grow wider. Luna hurls the flame at us and I wake up.

"Reese! Are you okay?" I look up and find Luna and Meria hovering above me. "Yeah, I'm fine. Nightmare." Meria looks worried. "Are you sure?" "Yeah." Luna leaves the room and come back with a cup of coffee. I stare at her. "You want some?" I quickly look away. "Uh, no thanks." I gather my stuff up and goes downstairs to eat something. I find some warm pancakes. As I start eating, Luna comes down. "You like them? I made them myself." I nod. Even though I had been forced to learn how to cook. I'm really bad at it. At least someone can cook.

After we finished eating, we went for a walk to the lake. Meria ran back home to grab the crystal so she could see if anything happens when it gets closer to the lake. We slowly went down the hill and reached the lake. Meria decided that she's going to go where Ashton went. We told her we should all go together as a team but she thought it was too dangerous for us. "Meria, we have to all go together!" Luna tried to reason with Meria. I joined in. "You don't know where you're going to end up! You could land in the sea for all we know!" Meria looks at us. "I'm sorry guys. I'm going." She raises the crystal in her hand and disappears. The crystal falls onto the ground.
